Thousands of Brits are set to tackle DIY projects this Bank Holiday weekend, from renovating that tired kitchen to fixing broken shelves or giving your garden a bit of TLC.

But with many of us on a tight budget, scouting out deals on paint, tools and new furniture can be vital both to our sanity and bank balance.

Luckily, those looking to keep down the cost can save a few pounds, as all the major hardware retailers compete to offer the best prices everything from furniture to DIY tools.

Wickes have a number of Bank Holiday savings, including 50% off kitchen units

Hardware store Wickes is offering shoppers 15% off click and collect orders of £75 or more until 6 September.
