The world’s first 3D-printing restaurant, Food Ink, has announced it will be going on a world tour after a limited opening in London drew many fascinated guests.

Food Ink’s founder, Antony Dobrzensky addressed guests at the London show, describing the restaurant as the ‘next step in this constant evolution.’

‘It’s the logical next step in terms of convenience, efficiency, sophistication, and also doing things that couldn’t quite be possible with the human hand but are possible in our imagination,’ Dobrzensky explained.

Items on the menu include fish and chips, air caviar and sweet chocolate desserts.

Food Ink announced it plans to take the concept around the world and may have upcoming dining events in cities such as Barcelona, Toronto, Cape Town, Singapore and our very own Sydney.
